Getting strange behavior on this site

I'm on IE 6.0. Some of the functionality of this site is now not working. The smilies to the right of the field I'm typing this in is full of dead links. Clicking on them does nothing. Also, something similar happens when I edit a post of mine.

I have an error being reported by the browser:

Nah. I do that in the Stern/Bubba forum, but I try to stay on topic in whatever forum I post in.

IE6 is a nightmare...so is IE8.

Unfortunately, I'm . . . somewhere . . . that provides computer builds. I have no admin rights, so IE 6 is all I get.

Home is a different story.
