I will post a few photos of ways I have come up with to make owning a product with almost no accessories a little bit easier. Maybe we can get a few others posting also. I saw a thread like this for the G2, if I missed a like thread for the G1 please remove. I will post my pics, if you need any info about one for the photos , please ask

This is my favorite daily use case, got it from The Dollar Tree ( $1 store ), Its called a PDA case, fits the G1 great.

It was the dock I got from Ebay for my old zune, Its a FM transmitter. If you look close you can see that I have the headphone wire going from the slacker into the bottom of the dock, You can also get some the these docks that have USB jack on them so you could use you power cord, I just use a generic 12v to usb plug, nice to turn backlight on and use the artist info. You just ignore the Zune/Ipod plug. Its a great holder at leased, And makes the touch strip usable. Here is a Ebay link I found at random.

I agree with you that case they send along with the G1 is useless. Heck it doesn't even keep the G1 in there it just slides right out.

I agree with you that case they send along with the G1 is useless. Heck it doesn't even keep the G1 in there it just slides right out.

I KNOW!! I don't even use mine that I fixed up, scared it will fall out. The PDA case from the $1 store gets daily use, holds it tight

They don't even have one for the G2 other than that plastic belt clip that they call a case. I ended up getting a neoprene case for it just to transport it around with me.

I use this same type case for the iPod Touch, but it is a different color. The G2 and iPod Touch both fit perfectly in this case. The way this case is designed the audio wire an still slip out the top on the side and yet the magnet closure will hold it closed.

I bought the G1 Leather Slacker case, it is really nice. I have noticed noise when I play the Slacker over the car stereo when I have it hooked to the Slacker car charger. Means I won't be charging it and listening at the same time.

like I said before, I use a generic 12v to usb charger, set the backlight to full time, and keep the power cord in full time from morning till late afternoon. I do not have any troubles like you have.

Yeah I am using the home docks in my personal and company car. One I have the Slacker car charger connected to the dock, the other one I am using my old Motorola Razr car charger plugged into the dock. I have no noise between songs or on low volume songs. I wondered if I would, but nada... totally quiet.

I got from the Case Logic web side , a Universal MP3 Player Case, CDM-1 . It fits great, but the headphone jack does not fit will, but I fixed it by cutting a larger area so the jack would fit.
I wished it had a belt clip, but it has a clear plastic area to protect the front and it's on sale for $11. plus shipping.

Sorry another letdown here..
One thing I really love about the slacker is i never really need to touch it. it works so goo, it stays in its case and that goes in the cash tray. At home i use the PC or itouch to get slacker around the house.
with Satrad i was always looking for something to listen to so a dock was a necessity.-not with slacker.
Slacker's saved me a bundle on docks compared to Satrad-
