I am so enamored by gadgets. Everything about them. Just having them around. I could read gadget blogs all day long. Learning about when new gadgets are going to come out, what their features are going to be, even what they are going to look like.

I can only assume there are some others on this board who are equally in love with small electronics.

Last night I met someone with the new G1 android phone. It's just a really slick device. She was showing me the google maps street view application. Since the phone has GPS you combine the two (Street View and GPS) and you have a super sweet gps application that shows you a picture of where you are as you go there.

It's sweet.

Ok I had to get that out of my system.

Seek help on this disease, you cannot afford this illness.

BTW, did you see the new pics of the BlackBerry Bold and how it might interface with SYNC?:Smiley_wink:

I'm technologically impaired.
My cell phone cost me $9.99 after the $30 rebate, and I only switched from dial-up to high speed a few months ago.
Give me a remote control and a football game on TV, and I'm good to go. :)

Wow! You mean you can see what where you are looks like a few months ago without looking up from your phone? That's fantastic. Now if only they had a real-time street view you wouldn't ever need to look up from your phone.

It usually goes like this:

1. read about some new gadget
2. tell myself that the new gadget is lame
3. think a bit more about new gadget
4. research new gadget a little more
5. convince myself that I need this new gadget
6. tell myself that the usefulness of the new gadget does not warrant the cost
7. buy it anyway

I am a total gadget addict!

Although now that I have a kid on the way I may have to put my gadget spending habits on hold (unfortunately the crib and dresser set we just bought didn't fulfill my itch to buy a new satradio for my truck, and it cost a lot more too...)

Hey NOW, you should not be giving out a detailed list of the process we go through to become gadget junkies. I know this violates one of the 12 traditions or steps of Gadget Anonymous. I am tellin! hehehe ;)

I could not agree more with that thought process. Goes exactly the same for me.
