When did this take place? The PDT said 30-AUG-1990, but that can't be right because Howard mentioned the movie "True Lies", and that didn't come out until 1994.

Also, what exactly set Fred off? I had to run an errand, and it went from ho-hum to fireworks while I was out of the car.

August 30, 1995 according to marksfriggin.

Howard had some of the guys in the studio act out the kissing scene, and when stuttering John did it, Fred went nuts.

Pretty much anytime Fred lost it in those days, Stuttering John was close by. You can still hear it in Fred's voice and demeanor to this day . . . Stuttering John drove him batshit crazy.

I heard that part, but it seemed intense before they started acting it out.

Be happy for John. He's in a much better place now.:)

I'm not so sure he is in a better place, but he is making way better money. He would have never made that staying on Howards show. Now that I think about it........ If being in a better place means no one looking for ways to make fun of you every single day then maybe he is. I would much rather work on the Stern show then for Jay,but for that kind of money I would jump too.
