I haven't been listening to it lately and of course the first time I try to in a while something called "Party 360" with a former host of "120 Mintues" is on (wasn't 120 Minutes heyday mostly in the nineties when that type of alt rock and grunge was becoming mainstream...1st Wave is more about New Wave and more early alternative rock which was quite poppy at times). So is Fred gone for good? What happened?

Fred's last show was about 2 months ago, shame. It was a good show and the kind of programming that made satellite radio different.

What's crazy is that I kept searching and there is no word of what happened. Did he say it was his last show? I agree...it is the kind of stuff that made satellite interesting....with the merger of the music channels happening soon, we'll probably lose even more.

From what I was told, Fred canceled it on his terms. As for Party 360, it's not as kitschy, but at least they still play a lot of the stuff used to play.
