Foreigner? Is that the best musical guest they can get? They must have an opening between rib burn off events and county fairs. Would be nice to hear someone that has released new music this decade. I thought that Foreigner quit recording in the 80s.

Amen to that. I hate musical guests. I always skip the interviews and then the inevitable live performance they do.

Don't know if I'm alone in this but musical guests suck. We all know the interview.

"Did you ever use music to bang women?"

"You musta gotten a ton of women touring..."

Unless it's someone iconic like McCartney, I don't care.

I dont like musical guest for the most part, cuz those are mainly "made-for-tv" segments. kinda like the sluts.

This either means Sirius/XM is heading towards an exclusive Foreigner station for a period of time or that Baba Brainfart thinks that Howard can work his magic in making them entertaining and interesting.

I hear they're not even touring with the original lead singer, Lou Gramm. Not that it matters too much I guess. :idunno:

I've been seeing ads for this on Facebook even. It says off to the side "Foreigner on Howard Stern this week!"

If this is the same lineup that I saw at Sea World in Orlando a couple of years back, you're going to be shocked how much the lead singer sounds like Lou Gramm.

Even more shocking, the guy looks like Stephen Tyler from Aerosmith.

Yeah, I hadn't heard the new guy sing - not a huge Foreigner fan. But he did sound a LOT like Lou Gramm. His Wikipedia pic is typical 80's hairband :)

Foreigner was over in the 70’s for pete sake. I’m not sure why anyone have current interest in them.

One memorable line from today’s interview, when stupid Artie at the end said Lou Gramm is singing at a church this weekend, blowing smoke up the bands butts by inferring Foreigner is a happening group to be with in 2009. I thought jeez that was a harsh comment made by someone who would fade in to obscurity if not for Howard about a band that no one would be able to name the members of.

I agree, Foreigner sucks. They only have one original member left and their latest album's a Walmart exclusive.

I think the only reason why Howard had them on the show in the 1st place is because he grew up listening to their music. He might have done this as a public service to his older listeners. However, I'm 28 and envisioning Lou Gramm in Spandex hitting those high notes makes my balls shrink.

Then again, Howard's had other has-been rockers on his show in the past, such as members of Styx and REO Speedwagon. Hell, I remembered years ago when a member of a band called "REO Speeddealer" bitched at Speedwagon's lead singer on the Stern show because they sent him a cease and desist letter, even though the band got their name from an old firetruck. Good grief.
