After today's show, I changed my sub from Sirius everything to just music. I don't give a shit about Bubba - never heard of him before Sirius, never listened to him on Sirius. I also don't mind Howard telling his fans to fuck off, but I'm not going to pay $12.95 a month to hear him do it. So I took Howard's advice. I've heard that the subs on Stilettos are notorious for never being updated. Lets see how long it takes them to get to mine.

I'm not going to claim that I'll never listen to the show; on the contrary, I plan on listening as long as my receiver gets the channel. If/when they do update my sub, and depending on how much I find myself missing it, I very well might subscribe again. But between Howard's rant today, the ten minute "top 5 HTV" fake listener call (how stupid does he think we are?), and another Beth-influenced guest, I've had enough of paying for it for a while.

I'm also not so dillusional as to think my canceling - or anyone else's - will have any impact on the show, Sirius, or Howard what-so-ever. The guy has hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. But I don't like being taken advantage of, and I won't help someone do it.

They asked why I was canceling (after offering 2 free months). I told them it was because of the vacations and Fridays.

It's ironic. Granted I haven't listened to Howard in over a year, but he showed emotion today. Funny it was at Sirius subscribers.

It's amazing. When Stern was signed Sirius made sure to let people know that the price wasn't going to go up or that Stern fans would have to pay extra (unlike O&A at the time).

If people don't like Stern, that's fine. No need to go bitching about it. Just don't listen & move on.

So if he takes time off, or doesn't want to work every other Friday, fine. You can either pay the money, listen to whatever else is available, or cancel & listen to the many other things that you can listen to.

Be happy & move on...

He got his half-billion, what does he care about stock prices? The shareholders - like his listeners - are on a long list of people suckered by Howard.

And now you can add Bubba to that list. Howard openly expressed his desire to see Bubba get fired from his terrestrial gig. When that happens, will Howard finally make Sirius pay Bubba his full quote? Not Mr. "Make Your Own Deal". Will he carve out some of his half-billion dollar paycheck to make up the difference? Right after hell freezes. If Bubba gets fired, Sirius will offer him even less money, and he'll have to take it because he'll have no other place to go. Sucker.

totally agree. esp @ those whopping 12 cent a share stock prices. I'm sure the executives @ sirius may have given howard an earful regarding that kinda of tyrade.

I doubt it. Howard has his money and is gone at the end of the contract, if they are still in business at the end of his contract.
