Ok. I'll join with you. With my house move planning, long hours at work of late and holiday munchies, I've gone up to 165. I'm 4 pounds overweight now.

Current weight: 165
Goal: 157

I was 192 this morning. 192 pounds of hardened steel. But I want to lose a little. Nothing like last year, though.

I'll buy a scale tomorrow. I'm guessing I'm around 255lbs. Don't know what the Canadian equivalent is :(

Goal weight is 180. Or however much I need to weight to get into my Mariah Carry dress :)

Ya'll could/should use this.

However, if you're like me, the BMI calculation isn't accurate due to muscle mass (or other factors).

For instance, my thinnest over this summer was 163lbs. At 5'8", my BMI was within a "normal" range. However, I've stopped my cardio (bike riding and jogging), started crushing the weights and increased my protein and calories. I'm up to about 170 but my clothes fit the same and I'm a lot more defined since summer.

BMI can suck a big D.

I wouldn't mind packing on a few more solid pounds of musk-ules.

My doctor said to F that thing, just F it in the A. Then she spit and said "Just keep doin' whatcher doin'. Mamma like."
For the life of me, I can't understand why it's still used as an accurate measurement of health.

As long as you're physiologically healthy (good bp, cholesterol, etc.), being "overweight" actually increases your potential lifespan.

I'd like to gain weight. I'm 6' 2" and weight 157. At 59 years of age I'm not sure how much muscle I can gain. I'd rather not gain fat.

Clean eating and lots of protein. You're not out of the game, yet.

I'm in for moral support.

The doctor told me my BMI is excellent, cholesterol is ideal, BP and vitals are textbook, and my prostate is dreamy. . . . . . .

I think I need a new doctor . . . .

I told you that Wolf's online MD was bogus.

I'm a flabbergasting 220 right now--the key word being "flab." I'm a fat bastard. I'm hoping that through a combination of karate (twice weekly), yoga, diet and a timely near-death bout of stomach flu, I can get that down to what has always been my goal, 170. That's 50 pounds. That's Tom Hanks in "Castaway"-type weight loss. That's Adele's left upper arm.

I'm in.

I hear you. With the holiday feasting and spending more time lounging around the house, I managed to pack on the pound.

How much time will I have to lose it?

I would love to lose some but have never been successful. My last weigh in was 216.8. I would like to get to 200 but would settle for 210 for now. Gotta stop the CocaCola.

My new weight: 165.3.

3.6 pounds overweight. summer goal: 157.

I'll be moving into my new house next week so I won't get much exercise for now. I just have to be practical. Not act like that girl in Semi's video.
