Sherbet is NOT and NEVER WILL BE ice cream.
He seemed really cool. I saw him at the restaurant I worked at and he was with Dick Clark. I said something to him about Michigan and he was super nice being friendly. He grew up in Detroit.
RIP.. Every time I was a huge fan back in the day of Star Search... They don't make shows like they use to..
Quite an impressive career that man had... he will be missed.

Too bad. And for someone with such a long career, it's sad that his life ended in financial ruin.
Letterman, Conan and Jimmy Fallon all had nice tributes to him. Letterman had a few words, Conan showed some of his old bits with Carson and Fallon pointed out that his studio was Carson's old studio in the 60's.
Of course, who can't forget his appearances on TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes in the 80's? Classic.
However, we'll never forget his final moment ever shown in any commercial: him embracing a golden toilet, uttering the words "goodbye, old friend" in a Cash4Gold ad.

True. I know he enjoyed doing star search and some of the other stuff, but Carson was where it was at.
