NEW YORK CITY (BNO NEWS) --[FONT=Book Antiqua,serif] Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, was found dead at his New York City apartment on Friday morning, according to law enforcement officials. He was 36.[/FONT]
[FONT=Book Antiqua,serif]DJ AM was found dead around 7 a.m. local time, but additional details were not immediately available. His body was found at 210 Lafayette Street. According to local media reports, DJ AM may have died from an apparent drug overdose. [/FONT]
[FONT=Book Antiqua,serif]Goldstein wrote his last message on Twitter on Tuesday: "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems."[/FONT]
[FONT=Book Antiqua,serif]Calls to his publicist were not immediately returned. [/FONT]
[FONT=Book Antiqua,serif]Goldstein, and drummer Travis Barker, survived a plane crash in 2008 that killed four others. Shortly after the news of Goldstein's death broke, Shanna Moakler, Barker's ex, tweeted: "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends."[/FONT]

How surprising that a young, overpaid TECHNO DJ that basically made a living PARTYING with people like Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritche died from a drug overdose.

I am just shocked.

I sort of agree, the only way this makes the news is because of the plane crash he was involved in last year where he almost died the first time. Even then it's stretching it.
