With the upcoming channel merger, I have my concerns about the eclectic channels and which, if either, will survive. I will be totally upset if Disorder disappears, as I feel it is by far the better of the two channels. Other thoughts?

If I had to take a wild guess, I'd assume that there is a better chance of the Sirius offering surviving. We'll be finding out for sure soon...

Disorder is definitely more Rock-based whereas Fine Tuning is the ultimate epitome of eclectic / free-form music.

I really hope both survive the merger lineup; both are unique in their own way.

I agree with Button lets hope they both survive, but if they don't and only one comes out, then I would indeed prefer it be Disorder. I love this channel. Fine Tunning, I enjoy but not nearly as much.

Does anyone know the address (e-mail and/or snail-mail) of the people involved in this decision? It's probably best to write to the person making the decision, with a copy to his or her boss, to help the peson support the decision when it is reviewed at the higher level.

I'm guessing that is it already too late. From the date leaked at Orbitcast.com it would seem that everything has already been decided on. We're just awaiting the implementation.

Its taking sat radio with it. That is truly one of the best and most unique channels. Its really a starship of the programming sat radio can offer and FM can not!

Keeping its a no brainer.

Its never too late. Sirius subscribers got The Bridge back. The company needs to keep its existing subscribers happy. Thats good business. They will listen if you speak your voice.

No point in getting all worked up yet...we really don't know for sure what's going to happen.

Once the announcements are made, we can all come back here and vent. I am sure everyone will have something to be a little upset about.

I was a dual subscriber for several years and Fine Tuning was one of the XM channels that I actually really liked. I like it better than Disorder, but it would be nice to have both.
