How do you go from eliminating the Hot Pass channels because they are not cost effective to now offering it for free?

Maybe DirecTV would be the right choice to take over SIRIUS/XM.

That's probably how so many companies stay in business lol.

Don't make sense to me either, but heck, that's cool for the people that have Direct TV.

I have the DVR set for both the Hotpass channel as well as the network feed. I'll burn the Hotpass channel onto a DVD for you after Jr's victory today! That would be sweet, wouldn't it? :yesshake:

Very cool, channels working as listed in earlier post...one window with race, one window with in-car. RPM, MPH, lap count, leaders, throttle/brake, and random stats about the driver listed. Fox race commentary is lower volume, team chatter is louder. One window stays with in-car during commercial. Nice!

Weren't they interactive channels before. I don't know if I was having a problem with my remote or if that was no longer an option.

I thought in the past I was able to select the leaderboard and even select the other audio options. It would be nice to be able to tune out the network announcer audio so that you just had the driver to crew.

i haven't had hotpass before, but i assume it wasn't there since a guide box didn't pop-up and tell us to press the red button for other options.

when they did the australian open they had a mixed channel and a dedicated channel to each court. on each one of the channels the little box would pop-up and tell you to press it to bring up the other options.

I know that it probably comes across this way but I don't work for them nor am I trying to sell you on this for monetary purposes but did any of you give TrackPass a try? I think that it is still free for a couple of more weeks. I have it and it is great. I like what Sirius/XM has to offer and that is what I'd be listening to if I weren't in front of my TV. When I am at home, I can no longer watch a race without it. I've mentioned before that I can plug my laptop into my surround sound system and play the driver feed while watching the race. Any and all drivers are available as well as track officials.
