Dane Cook today??? Didn't they always refer to him as a hack?

I think Artie may have made some references to him being hacky at some point... the one caller kinda called him out on it, but wasn't quite right, so Artie was able to say with some truth "I never said that".

Artie has definitely talked shit about Cook in the past. His floundering when the caller calling him out on it could have been radio gold if Howard had decided to not cover it up (if he even remembered Artie's criticisms from before, that is).

I thought Dane Cook was MILDLY funny when he first came onto the scene. Now he's just sickening. All the chicks are into him, and quite frankly I could think up his act and perform it in my sleep. Maybe I get mad because his act just seems like something I could do and not really that great. I always feel like its all stuff that sounds like an everyday conversation me and my friends have when we get together adn BS.

Once again, TWUS is the only place where real callers get through. The fact that Howard only takes select calls, in my opinion, has been one of the biggest downfalls of the show since coming to satellite. Insane callers, complaining callers, etc., made for some of the most classic moments in Stern show history.

C'mon, Cpt, that's what we have MTT for!! We can relive the glory days through replays... lol.

No reason to find more wackpackers or insane callers. :idunno:

/Eric, from Hoboken, you're on.

It is amazing that Howard doesn't recall that pretty much every whackpacker started off as an insane caller. That's my favorite thing about the Ellis show. He has no idea of the person's name half the time. It's totally random and often accidentally hilarious.

And that Ellis doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground half of the time.

It's like he's innocently stupid. Thank god for Raw Dog.

Canada Eh!
To play devils advocate for a second. Gary did have a point, if they jump on every quest because someone doesn't like them or their work no one would come in.

No one besides Joan Rivers that is.
