nhra. watching yesterday's qualifying sessions from gainsvile, ga and they showed chip with nhra owner don "the snake " prudhomme. cost of running a team is cheaper and the season is shorter.
could chip ganassi maybe jump ship to....

With all the talk about people who have come into the sport, thinking they can run a team cheaply, then find out it's a lot harder then they thought, ie. Bobby Ginn, this is the guy I would love to see run out of NASCAR. I'll take Bobby Ginn any day over Chip...

I dont think so either. Im not necessarily a fan of Chip, but I dont see him as any worse for the sport than GEM, Petty, or Mayfield at this point. The whole dam thing is becoming a big joke.
i don't believe he'll leave nascar anytime soon, but i've never known him to attend an nhra event either.
