Connection Error - Stiletto 2

I installed MSS about a year ago without error. I used it a couple times without error, until last night. When I plug in the Stiletto 2 I get a "Device Failed Connection" sound through my speakers. (Double beep) The computer will not recognize my Stiletto. I thought something was wrong with my unit until I installed MSS on 2 separate laptops without a problem. When I plug in the Stiletto to either of the laptops it is recognized and I'm able to transfer songs. My desktop has stopped working. I've tried 4 different USB ports on my desktop. I've plugged in other USB devices and the ports are definitely working properly. Any IDEAS????

What OS are you using? XP? Vista?

Maybe you should trying reloading MSS. Delete what you have and download the newest on from Sirius.com.

I have problems like that with my desktop with Vista, I just kept re-plugging and re-plugging and eventually it worked. Hang out around here and you will hear how clunky MSS is. I think most people just use it to install firmware updates on their stilettos. Good Luck!

Do a complete reboot of your SL2 before connecting. This fixed it for me the only time it has happened.
