Surprisingly nice
I think we had a thread on this on SBS...I searched and didn't find one here.

Anybody watching? I'm hooked. Great stuff. Lucas' Buck Rogers/Saturday serial schtick transfers great to a cartoon.
 
I've read reviews online about people asking George to give it up. That it's getting old already...:(

I would like to see it, but I haven't yet. Maybe when it comes out on DVD...:)
 
I watched the movie when it was first released in the theaters, and liked it.
I keep forgetting to watch the TV series. :idunno:
 
I hated it, it was more for kids!!! George "toyboy" Lucas needs to be put down now!! No more Star Wars, time for something fresh and new.
 
I saw the movie when it opened, and I watch the cartoon every week. It's good, but you have to go into it with the expectation that it's not meant to be like the movies. I think Lucas has done a good job of keepint it "separated" from the movies. For example, Anakin is just Anakin, with no foreshadowing of Darth Vader.

It is aimed at kids, but it's still decent.

That's pretty much my opinion.

What Lucas should do is a cartoon about the 16 years or so AFTER Revenge of the Sith and before ANH, instead of continuing to re-hash the period of time between AOTC and ROTS.

What he should have done is compress PM and AOTC into one movie, made Anakin turn to the dark side in movie 2, and made movie 3 all about the extermination of the Jedi and Obi-Wan and Yoda's desperate attempt to hide the twins and go into reclusion.

And of course, he'd have hired a writer for the screenplay and gotten a director, too.

But Lucas sucks.
 
I like it. The TV show is much better than the movie. Ahsoka is far less annoying.

And now that its re-aired on saturday mornings, I can watch it with my 4 year old son. He's a big fan of the other CW cartoons.

I finally got to watch the movie today. It's not too bad. I kinda liked it. The graphics kinda got on my nerves, but other than that, it was good...:)

I would love to watch the cartoon series. Maybe it will come out on DVD like the prior ones...:D
