OK, so now that the merger has been approved and best of is out there, I decided to go ahead and see what the major differences are between the two "best of" packages. I have decided to use an INNO and a Stiletto 2 to my advantage.

I will be the first to admit that I felt like I was cheating on my Stiletto when I was opening the package because man is this thing sexy!

I like the looks of it more than the Stiletto, however, I think the Stiletto has a better screen. Just my opinion.

Does anyone else have an INNO? I will be sure to post more about my new toy when I start to play with it more.

:D

I had an Inno and a Stiletto SL1 for a while and they were both very cool! Unfortunately I could not pick up MLB inside the building at work so I ended up sending back the Inno, but I was really impressed with it for the week or two that I used it!

I had an Inno for about a year and half. When the ExpressRC came out, I immediately dumped in in favor of it. The reason is I never used it as a portable, I never recorded any XM content and I always, always, always... hate the display. The display on the ExpressRC rocks by comparision. In many ways it is a nice Radio, but in the areas that it is nice, simply wasn't enough for me to keep it. I've been very happy with the ExpressRC.

I lost my S2 and will probably replace it with an Inno. I generally just listen to Howard/Bubba and the political channels so I can get all of that with XM and take advantage to the better repeater coverage.

The XMP3 is supposed to have superior graphics to the Inno (much like the Express RC). A lot of the XMers don't like it because it has many of the same restrictions that the SL2 had. You may find that a better choice. I may get one myself (pending what happens with the 'duplicate music channels'.

Why didn't you like the display? I think I might be looking for a new XM radio. I have the Roady XT. I've had it for 2+ years. They are still available...wow.

I like the portables due to their size. I don't listen to my SL2 as a portable.

How does the ExpressRC compare to the SL2 in size?

edit: Also no wifi on the Inno?

The display is small and rather grainy. I was just never happy with it because the text is very small too. To me using it in a vehicle it is just not user friendly at all. There are no easy access buttons, you always have to use the menue.

The Delphi Express has real preset buttons, nice crystal clear display and its not very big at all. My Stiletto is rocording right now, but I'll take a comparison picture for you once it is done.

No XM Tuner has Wifi :(

I have an SL2 and an Inno. In all honesty I had a an SL100 and SL2 and was partial to Sirius to begin with, but I never understood why everyone liked the Inno so much. Its recording and playback functions are awkward, and confusing, and the screen isn't great. The XMP3 looks really nice though. I'd love to be able to listen to something else while recording.

So I finally got my new toy activated! This thing is awesome! Unfortunately it wasn't activated with best of..........yet. We are working on it. In the meantime, here is a pic of my desk setup at work. Jealous?

Your SL2 battery looks to be dead.

It is. Actually there isn't even a battery in that one. We had two people that didn't even buy SL2s from us that we helped swap Batteries out since their batteries expanded. We have been bugging SIRIUS non-stop to produce the SL2 batteries separate. They are almost there but at least we sent them two expanded batteries to help make a case.

The one thing that i like about the Inno over the SL100 or SL2 is the Tune Select. Tune Select is huge for me.
But I do like the buffer that the SL2 offers which the Inno does not.
Plus the microSD card slot on the SL2 is great.

The song/artist seek for many is important. But that too was another concession that SIRIUS made on the SL100 and SL2. What I did find though with the ability to record individual songs, I could record those songs and listen to them anyway, so I didn't really miss it as much as I thought I would.

Then there are those that have it on their tuner and disable it or never add songs to it, because they feel it just interrupts the music.

I do find that I used the Replay feature and found it so much more desirable that I eventually sold my Inno in order to get it on the ExpressRC.

I don't really have a need for the Wifi, but I will say the reception I get with the Inno is awesome. I use regular ear buds and get get a strong signal just about everywhere, including in buildings. I had a hard time get Sirius in my house.

I agree with you Fergz, the reception with the Inno was indeed good. The reason I like the Wifi so much is because almost every office I am in and generally the hotels I stay allow me to use Wifi. Hell just sitting around at McDonalds in the mornings with some headphones having some coffee allows me to listen to news or some soft music. Everyone has a different lifestyle though.
