Daughtry was a member of the Classics IV in 1969-70 and played keyboards on Stormy, Traces and Everyday With You Girl. Atlanta Rhythm Section formed in 1970 in Doraville, Georgia. Their first single, Doraville, was a #35 hit in 1974. Among the sextet's other hits are So In To You, Imaginary Lover, Spooky, Do It Or Die and I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight.
