It would make my listening experience soooooo much sweeter!!! Of course it would eliminate 75% of the callers and about 50% of the guests.:rofl2:

Canada Eh!
Sometimes the callers suck but it's like that with any show. You take the good with the bad and hope you get a few more good than bad ones!

One thing I do like is that you have your new to average fan all the way up to die hard. I hate it though when it seems we have the same questions asked by 5 different callers just with the wording a bit mixed up and another twist to each of them.

I guess I should clarify what I mean, I understand new fans have what seems to be silly questions to us at times. Im really not referring to that type of caller, cause I was new too, a very long time ago. I'm talking about the know it alls who think their rocket scientists! Ballews truck driver got trashed and talked about the rest of the day by idiots that claim to know everything about trucking! One guy, from canada I think, claim to have his own trucks and been in it all his life. And every fact that he stated was incorrect! I have talked to enough of these hauler drivers, and have been on a dirt late model team and have been a driver long enough to know he was full of crap! As well as the first one that I heard that claimed you never move with an airleak, bullcrap! Every situation is different, we weren't there and have no clue about THAT instance.
When a trucker veers off the road at night and crashes, truckers are the first to say he HAD to have fallen asleep. It gets my blood boiling as Im sure you can tell.

A lot of times the types of callers that you get are brought on by the type of show that's on the air. (ahem....speedway....)

The whole point of talk radio is the free and open exchange of opinions. I don't agree with everything that gets said by our callers, and they obviously don't always agree with me. But if Sirius NASCAR Radio starts filtering out callers based on whether or not we agree with their specific point of view, there won't be much reason to listen.

On man's "moron caller" is another man's "right on," and personally, I'm not interested in hearing 14 hours a day of Sirius NASCAR Radio "meda-dittos;" as one caller after another assures the host that he's absolutely right, and that anyone who disagrees is a moron.

It's all about tolerance, my friends.

Can't remember
Dave, nicely put. That's what makes listening to the shows fun and interesting, everyone has their own opinions. How boring would things be if we all agreed on everything?
For the record, you all have a TON of tolerance :)

Dave: Seriously the caller you has on regarding Kyle Busch and his "publicity stunt" should have been hung up on "put down" or whatever. She was rude to you and was a real "winner"

I do have to agree she did dig her hole and show what a "prize" she was. I honestly believe that by Kyle annoucing his donation his thought is maybe I might motivate others to donate also. I am not a shrub fan but can't say he does not give. I am from South Louisiana and went through Katrina and I am well aware that Kurt and Kyle gave their race winnings to Katrina victims.

Additionally I was not the biggest Smoke fan and after I heard him talk about the Prelude it made me want to understand what he was talking about. I don't have HBO and never heard of the prelude. After I did more research I was surprised by how much Tony gives from the big causes to the little. Now he was won me over and I am a passionate Smoke fan because of his compassion. Kyle and Carl have both said seeing Tony in action when it comes to fundraising has inspired them to more active.

For those of you who do not know Tony has been named Nascar Illustrated's Person of the Year and his big heart is the reason why he won it. :bigclap:

MY 100th post!!!!! We all think of things we want to say and we may not realize or hear other callers put it out there first, I can never get through but anyhow, I think of things at work and sometimes jot a note to remember it. I am at work, how am I supposed to know 20 or so other peeps just asked Moody, Bagley, Poole or who ever it is that same question? If you are managment at your job and your employees ask you the same questions one after the other (each without the knowlege the others asked first), yes its gets redundant, yes it gets annoying but you get paid the big bucks for being that go to person for q/a's. I manage one person and he asks some stupid stuff at times and the same stuff over and over, but with great responsibility comes with great redundant incessant questions. I deal with it as my boss does and move on with a smile.

It is not that easy to do, he works really hard and he is UNION. He is just an overachiever in my book. I know we all asked many questions when you are new to a position and essentially thrown in it.
