Total BS

Bubba mailed it in today, this isn't even a live show, its the same show he did this morning, I listen to Bubba every Friday since Howie never on. I listen on the Bone's website. I thought we got a love show on Friday's? IS he on vacation from Sirius? He only does 1 live show a week for Sirius and he get vacation? LOL:mad:

Canada Eh!
I forgot about Bubba. Kinda glad I did now, I guess it wouldn't have been worth tuning into anyways.
Was there at least a Hootie call on the repeat? I sure hope so.

Well don't complain after all none of it is his fault. For what I see Sirius spent money on a fm show with no gain of there own. The thing that pisses me off they should just move the show to 139 xm or 108 sirius and have it live and forget having it on 101. I thought 101 was free from fm crap? I don't want to start a war just figure this out or the logic of this move.

well at least this has been a really good terrestrial show as there is no hogan, no nascar, no mma, and no talk of other local terrestrial dj's.

Well, you got 3 out of 4 today...

As for it being recorded, I also noticed a few things that made it stand out, including a few Shiz-with-a-z gimmicks and someone worrying about an F bomb during the pizza segment. Even so, for the most part, I still thought it was a pretty decent show.

I think the 108 option was one of the options brought up during the last negotiations, but Sirius said that 108 was full.

108 is full. Covino & Rich at noon and Jay Thomas at 3 PM.

I'd like to know why they didn't just re-air a show from 2006 or 2007.

This is interesting.

As far as weeks off, Bubba doesn't get a whole lot, other than federal holidays (Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.)

Maybe this is is "Sirius Labor Day?" :idunno:

I just thought of a interesting point. Instead of replaying the FM crap during the week, why not give us the previous three years of stuff? (Sans pre-election stuff. I don't think anyone wants to re-live that.) If you're listening to stuff that isn't live, would you rather listen to FM stuff re-packaged, or uncensored stuff from 2-3 years ago?

You just all haven't seen the light yet...

I am the Dragon. And you call me insane. You are privy to a great becoming, but you recognize nothing. You are an ant in the afterbirth. It is your nature to do one thing correctly. Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe.

If Bubba needs a day off, take the whole friggen day and don't get up at 4:00 am. Today was a day of shitty deal or shittier deal.

Exactly. I think anyone would do exactly that. I think he said something about having to go to a race of some sort.

This is an interesting coincidence: Last week (I think), someone called in and asked why Sirius doesn't replay the Friday FM show...OTOH, I don't think that caller could understand the fact that the Sirius airing of the FM show really isn't the way it's supposed to be in the first place.

Still, someone dropped the ball big time. If they want a Friday off, that's fine, but don't air the Friday FM show on Sirius.

I'd rather hear the Friday FM show than shit that's already been replayed before. Although I caught the show live so it's a moot point, but I usually miss some of it.

Some advance notice would've been appreciated though.

It was either today or yesterday or both that I've heard Bubba. I've been enjoying it a lot. It seems more real. Heard Bubba giving advice to Brent on how to deal with his mother.

But I can't listen to the homeless games, just too gross.

That was a very real moment between those guys and is part of what the show does the best, bringing uncomfortable personal stuff on the air. Once you get past the "no cursing" thing they deliver pretty solid shows as of late. Hell, the thread starter had no problem with the show until he realized it was 4 hours old. I'd much rather have that than porn stars coming in to provide "shocking" Sirius content.

As for the homeless stuff, it was gross, but that new intern Al Queda is going to be a star on the show. :jj:

As for this screwup, someone posted on facebook that Jim was on vacation (which he is), and the replacement screwed it up. OTOH, at least we did get the Friday show. There is some semi-validity to the fact that Sirius customers get 4 shows, but get a replacement for the other show. If they could find a way to give us all 5 FM shows, AND a live show, then that would be better.

As for the gross stuff, that's what makes the show great, I think. Homeless pubic hair burritos, ball zappings, liquid ass, etc. (They haven't done liquid ass in a while, actually.)
