In meetings with customers today and on one particular issue I noted that I could not get that answer for them and we would have to do a "conference call willie" to get that answer and hopefully work it out with the product manager.

Here is how it went down:

ME: You know what, that is a good question and I don't have the answer for that. However, we can do a conference call willie to get that from the product manager.

Them: That would be great if we could get Willie on the phone later today because, going forward, these backorders are probably going to need to be addressed as we have some large orders pending.

I didn't even correct them. I just kept rolling.

Yeah, it happens.

Back in 2005, I was at Best Buy and was talking about Sirius and XM radios to one of their employees. I pretended to be interested in XM, but instead of mentioning "Sirius" the words "ehh ehh ehh" came out of my mouth.

On another forum, I once posted "shiz with a z."

hahah thats great! would have been better if the people knew the deal.

ive decided im gonna try to get back into bubba. i can get his ball sack radio show down here in boca, out of miami, but im never awake for it. so im gonna start recording the friday shows again. from what i read here, hes been right on the ball lately. i really liked him when he was a solo sirius man, but since this new deal ive trailed off listening to him. hopefully ill be all about it once again.

I still use "inside iggy" and "taking a shit on the deal".

OH yeah. My top Bubba phrases:

1. Boss Hog. As in say, to my wife, "don't come in here and try to boss hog me into going to your mom's house.
2. Willie, Jones. I pretty much describe most things as either "willie" or "jones."
3. Learn how to work, kid--often to my son I will say: "No way, I"m not doing that for you, you need to learn how to work, kid."
4. Taking a shit on the deal. "how did it work out?" "oh, they pretty much took a shit on the deal."
5. Iggy--"they must have gotten the iggy on what was going down.
6. Rib--Total rib.

I told a customer on Wednesday that I "was taking a major shit on the deal". They just kept on rolling and somebody even agreed with me. They wanted to push a go-live back two weeks so I took a major shit on the deal.

I've found myself using 'gimmick' a lot when I lived/listened in Tampa in 2000. Since his move to Sirius, it's pretty much cizarny jizones all the time now between the wife and me.

while I don't speak carny, I try to understand it and sometimes I just don't get it.

Like if Bubba and Hogan are really yapping in carny for a few seconds, man, I'm totally lost.

Obviosly I get the one word things but full sentances I get lost.

Heh - to be honest, she mostly gets lost too. I usually have to stop and explain, but the best part is she at least trizies.

Nothing says love like speaking carny!
