I just talked with her yesterday about her wanting to drive a top fuel dragster on the nhra circuit and this happens to her!!!! She's listed in serious condition.

Hmmm, on Tuesday, Huntersville police charged Anna Lisa Smith with DWI and driving with a revoked license.

Makes me wonder if Roy Hill wants to back her after this incident. Its not like she doesn't have money to get a cab. In fact, she probably has access to a limo.

What is her condition now? I've not heard any updates about her injuries.

i'm not sure about her condition, but she still remains at carolinas medical center. last i heard the accident left her with serious injuries and she was thrown about 40 feet from her car.

I really wish her well and don't like to hear of injury accidents, BUT!!!!

I don't understand how anyone involved with racing can get into a car and not do up the seat belt. It's not like they don't know, all too well, what happens to a driver in a race, or any other, car.

Not long before Ms. Smiths accident there was a NASCAR driver hurt badly in another case of not wearing.

Who was the driver because I don't recall of hearing anything about that unless it slipped my mind.

I wish her well, but I don't pitty her at all. She's an adult, and not to mention wanting to be a top fuel driver in the NHRA ranks are two things alone that should be a good indication of showing responsibility and having to have you head on straight.

I'm sure I will be called out on this, but I'm going to go ahead and say it anways. For some strange reason she looks as if she is the partying type.
