Because the Army is putting my up in Bethesda, MD, I needed something with all-wheel drive to deal with snow (my low-profile Civic SI wasn't going to cut it). And because I get preferred buyer interest rates through Honda, it had to be a Honda. So, this is what I came up with:

Civic CR-V.

Farker--Bethesda Maryland really doesn't get much snow.

You must be one of southern folk that freak out when it flurries.

Honestly, after living where I live now, if it isn't at least 6 inches of snow I'm not even going to slow down. And we don't even get the snow that an Erie, PA or some places in upstate NY get.

But, congrats on the new ride. A new car is always a good time.

It wouldn't have been my choice, but you get what you can get. At least Honda is the #2 brand behind Toyota. Both are reliable vehicles.

I love snowboarding. I'm planning on taking advantage of that while being up there.

You would have been fine with the civic. It hasn't snowed much in the Mid Atlantic the last few years.

If you paid cash for it, great. If not, it will far out live the payments. A good choice.
