These two channels seem to have pretty good playlists. They definitely go "deeper" than some of the other channels and I enjoy listening to them, though I sometimes wonder if it wouldn't be best to combine them and bring back a channel they killed off such as Boombox or The System. There is some definite overlap in their material.

Being a fan of both these channels I would be annoyed, to say the least, if these two channels were merged. While there may be some overlap with artists from time to time that same thing can be said of many stations. I still beleive they are different enough to warrant being left as separate channels.

Okay, so maybe I got carried away saying Hair Nation had a "deep" playlist. But they definitely don't have the smallest playlist of aany other music channel, and they actually cover their genre quite well- I think they have a good playlist for their genre of music. The Heat, BPM, and 80s on 8, off the top of my head, cover their genre less effectively than Hair Nation does.

I think that is true but keep in mind Radio Disney is a terrestrial station broadcast on Satellite. I think Hits 1 is the shallowest playlist of them all.

I used to think I was doing the kids a favor by letting them listen to RD. Now I won't even turn it on...

Thank goodness for Guitar Hero and RockBand for turning my son onto real music. Now we can diss the Jonas Brothers together... What a bonding moment.
