From the most-recent email. BOXM now only $2.

My guess? NHL and NBA seasons are almost over. (A max of 4 games left in the NHL, and between 4-7 games left in the NBA.) BOXM isn't selling.

Any similar offers for Best of Sirius to debunk my theory?

I was looking on XMradio this morning to see if I could switch to lifetime online (I can't) and saw they were offering it for $2 (until your next renewal). Its a quiet time for Sirius sports too.

They seriously have a channel for that? My God. I thought Golf was boring....

I guess if they can't get MLB play by play on Sirius, Cricket is sort of simular.

Actually, I'd rather listen to crickets than anything offered on BOXM. At least they got smart enough to remove the pictures of all that scary XM talent...

Looks like I agree with you again. All I ever wanted from XM was baseball and thats it. XM subscribers really got the better deal best of. I did end up getting a XM XpressRC with BOS lifetimed so I could have baseball and all the stuff on Sirius that I love. It's to bad Sirius quit making and marketing new radios. I have to admit the XpressRC kicks ass.

There may be a market for Cricket but because Sirius/XM only advertises to subscribers they would never know.

There is a market for cricket. It is available on TV, but the channel to watch it on is rather expensive and not available on cable TV.

I'm not sure how cricket would translate to a radio broadcast, but it's worth a try.

The same as Nascar, if people are willing to listen to cars going in circles why not cricket?

I can only imagine what tennis sounds like on radio. To funny.

I was trying to point out that it seems like Sirius/XM only advertises to it's subscribers. I can't remember the last time I saw a commercial for Satrad.

Sirius had one where the older formats of music were knocking each other over in a domino effect, ending with the Stiletto standing tall.

You're right though. Any commerical for the company is a rare one.
