Average price for phone without plan

What do you think is an average/fair price for an 8gb 3G iPhone is (no plan required). This could be locked or unlocked (I am on ATT so it doesn't matter). I see a new one on Craigslist for $350 and a used one for $250.

Seeing how they are $99 with a plan. $250-$300 unlocked is a fair price depending on condition.

Do you think I need to worry about a warranty? The one for $250 was used for a few months and the one for $350 is new in box. I don't need it to be unlocked as I am already with AT&T with my BB. I'm getting fed-up with my BB freezing on me.

Can't you just buy one through AT&T?

Can't you can pick up a refurb from AT&T at a relatively decent price?? If you get it from AT&T, it comes with a warranty.
