My avatar disappeared at one point, and I had to repost it. I have noticed other members disappear at times. Why does this happen ?

Depends on who is hosting your photo. Sometimes you reach a certain limit and then it no longer works. MM may remove it because he doesn't like you. Those are a couple of reasons! LOL

That has use to happen to me in the past when I use to use yahoo hosting site, but I found photobucket and i has never happen to me yet, plus it free! But there also other free hosting sites out there for photos.
