Atw #350: Former Sirius Or Xm Channels

We reached another milestone theme and this week is an old-school theme, we have done a couple of times, but changed up a little bit. First time we did this was ATW #29 between 10/23/11 – 10/29/11 when both companies weren't merged yet.

This week ATW #350 is Former Sirius or XM Channels for the week of 3/4/18 - 3/10/18.

I don't have satellite radio anymore and this was a former favorite channel of mine Buzzsaw.

College Sports Nation replaced by ESPNU Radio.

My favorite show was College Football Playbook with Jack Arute (plus Rick Neuheisel). His departure was never defined.

I got my first XM in 2002. The only music channel I liked was Top Tracks

Super Shuffle was a cool Sirius channel back in the day. A lot of music genres in one place.

I liked the Jazz Café. It was more pop-oriented than Watercolors. Though of course Watercolors was the better choice for the merger. I also liked U-Pop.

I can't find the logo. But one of my old favorite channels was Vacation until it turned into Radio Margaritaville.

I enjoyed some of that Caribbean, Jamaican music.

Here's a channel that still exists but has been nothing but a shell of its former, great self for years now.

The Dirty Dog Channel was good back in the hey days of 2.0 radio with Party Mega Mix and College Classic Radio

I loved OutQ. About half the schedule was worth listening too.

Especially when they had drag queens on …

Oh, yea I recall that channel. The talking was a bit boring. I preferred the music.
