Man, another arena football logo! :D

We'll give you a pass for being a "new" franchise. Also, OKC is a cool name. Like NYC or the ATL.

if i remember correctly the rockets changed their logo when they got yao ming. i think they were going for something that would appeal to asians. like how baseball games in seattle have nintendo and other companies ads behind the plate that are written in japanese.

Yes the Rockets, had couple of sorry ass logos, specially the smiley rocket.

They didn't changed the logo just for you ming or asians, they wanted to ditch the old red, blue and stripes jerseys. I heard one reason and it sounds weird, but they believed it caused them bad luck after their old championship run back in the mid 90's. So they want to bring back the old champ colors red and gold, which is working out a lot better now.
