Joe Buck is on Mad Dog right now.

He says he was taken aback a bit, thought Artie did cross the line a little bit but that he is happy Artie was on the show. He holds no ill will to Artie and is still a fan but thinks it came off bad.

He said Paul Rudd and jason Sudekis were just sitting there with no clue as to what to do.

Thanks for posting this, wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I got home in time yesterday to record 'The Dog House' and they replayed both Artie and Joe Buck from earlier on 'Mad Dog Unleashed'.

Artie's Mad Dog call was great, just like the Buck show appearance. He's taking advantage of the window of opportunity to bolster book signing attendance. Good for him.

Today, while on my county's library site, I found that Artie will be appearing at the Ocean County Library on July 11 for a book signing/appearance. Looks like some sort of fundraising event.

Mad dog needs to keep his mouth shut about what is funny and what is not. Just like Artie needs to keep his mouth about sports when he has no idea what he's talking about. I've been getting more and more into Mad dog,but he is flat out wrong on this.

You should go to his signing and tell him all of your grievances about the Stern Show of today in person, but you won't. You gotta have stones to do that. :D

You can't be wrong when it is your opinion. His opinion is that it isn't funny. If you don't agree with his opinion that's fine but he is under no obligation to keep it to himself.

Ok his opinion is wrong. It was very funny. When Mad Dog started bringing up comics he though was funny is when it became more than an opinion. He asks why he had to curse. Whats wrong with that? So lets see him ask Chris Rock that. So in my eyes his opinion is way wrong. He needs to stick to sports(mostly NY sports) because that what he knows. He should never of brought up names of other comics.

Again, his opinion can't be wrong (it's his not yours). You may not agree with it but it can't be wrong. If you feel that his opinion can be wrong then you need to brush up on your English.

If Artie wasn't on what's left of the show, he would most likely feel the same way I and many others do regarding it.

Cashing weekly high five figure checks tend to keep ones feelings to themselves. Pay me that and I'll post here each day how the show is now the greatest form of entertainment on earth....citing examples :) Of, course, I'd be lying through my teeth, but....it would be a living.

I would have no problem expressing my views to Artie, or anyone else for that matter. It's truly how I feel. What's the worst that could happen? I can take a punch. :) Although I won't be in town the day of his appearance, I may run into him someday, as I live five minutes or so from his shore house.

If it ever happens, I'll be sure to post about it here.

You should go to xmfan's board. You even mention Howard and they gang up on you and call you a troll. Besides SFN I have never seen people hate Howard as much as they do. I bought an XM radio and went over there to check it out and they do nothing but hate on Stern and put people down. Seriously you can't even complain about the royalty fee hike or discuss it withought getting trashed. This site is so much better. Compared to them Die...... Your a saint when it comes to Stern. I don't think they like Mad Dog much either.

It's really got to burn their ass that they went from clearly dominating Sirius to being bought by them. All because they squandered the Stern deal. If they had signed Howard, Sirius would have died in 2006.
