Sad to pile on the guy, but he has done all of this to himself. He should have been let go a long time ago, he couldn't even work a 4 day week. Artie has always felt he has not deserved any of his success, and now that he outlived his dad he really lost any self worth he might have had.

Be well Artie, hope you get yourself straightened out, for you and your family.

This is the beginning of the end.... hitting rock bottom, as they say.

I agree. Artie hitting rock bottom will help him out in the long run. He'll get clean and maybe realize there is more to life than being a disgusting junkie and idolizing his degenerate father.

Horrible news, but I wonder how much they were paying him and what that would mean for the show and/or company financially.

You guys are correct. This is Artie hitting rock bottom. Also, it could be considered a "crash and burn".

I feel horrible for him. I can't help it.

Yeah, we can call it selfish, and say he has the means ($) to correct his problems, but my feeling is that he does what he does to "get by", and he just doesn't know any different and he doesn't have the ability to learn how. I think it's how he's getting by.

Ya know what I mean? He's a good guy.

Long overdue!!!

I think he's funny and love him on the show but I don't feel he should be employed. He should have been fired long ago.

Mutt said on SFRT it was not true. They even had a "Breaking, Howard 100 News" segment with Langford and Sabien saying it was not true.

Fuck you Perez. You are gay and faggot.

can't say I'm surpised. I mean how much do u think sirius/xm was gonna put up with? they probably wanted to fire him a long time ago. if this was a one time incident, they might look the other way, but he was habitually abusing the rules.

I hope this doesn't spiral him into a further depression.

I guess Teddy is lucky that Artie wasn't eating with a spork the day he went after him. Sirius should have reprimanded Artie after that attack with a good "leave of absence". That was a touchstone moment.

Canada Eh!
Hope its not true but I'll miss him on the show. Its not the same without him but if this is what it takes to get better then fine by me.

I was thinking that the teddy attack was his way out. HR should have intervened then, I believe that's what Artie wanted all along but Howard stepped in and the rest is history.
