Artie caught in another lie

Artie said when Cloris Leachman was on the Norm show, she put her boobs on a shelf, so to speak... in comes Cloris as a guest, Howard mentions it, and of course she says "never happened," which you have to believe is the truth since she was being pretty straightforward. Suddenly Artie changes his story to "I never said that, I said I heard that from someone else..."

A man who literally gets paid to lie for a living! Dammit I wish I had that talent.

I thought the same thing when I first heard this. Though, I didn't care as much as you. I have a life So I listened to the replay and before she came out he told the story but said he came in after and people told him she put her boobs on the table.

Regardless, it's kinda weird Artie seems to be developing a pattern of having an odd brush-with-fame story about an elderly/dead celebrity (see: Peter Boyle, and... name is not coming to me).

Like Snoozer said, Artie said in the story that he was told that's what happened before he got to the makeup trailer.

Of course, Cloris said she didn't even remember The Norm Show or Norm or Artie, so maybe she forgot whippin' out her flapjacks...
