I been playing Paintball for a few years now. I mainly play at a indoor facility, because during the summer I don't enjoy the outdoors because of the 100 degree weather. This is the gun, I use:

Kingman Spyder Victor II

But I been in looking around for a better one and plus a hand gun. I know Tippman usually the best, but I haven't discovered the right one.

We started playing last year with work. It turned out to be a lot more fun than we had guessed it would be. Everybody started getting their own gear. We all wound up with similar rigs.

I got a Tippmann A-5 with a Flatline barrel.

I'm not digging the barrel so much. Some of the guys with sniper barrels have a lot more accuracy and range than I'm getting.

We've been mostly playing outdoors. One of the guys has a wooded lot that we play at, and another guy has access to an auto junk yard that we play at too. Pretty cool.

Last weekend we played at a new indoors place that used to be an indoors tennis facility. They have 2 big buildings; one is a speed-ball course and the other is a scenario course. We're better equipped for the scenario courses with our guns. (That and we're not really great.) The speed-ball guys tend to use some higher end guns.

I'm pretty big into paintball myself, I have a spyder sonix now, but I plan to upgrade to an MR3 soon. Rap4.com is a pretty good website to paintball related goods. Super realistic to tourney ball they carry a ton of great stuff. They have an AK47 look/feel paintball gun for $279.99.

They have an M4 carbine look/feel that is even magazine fed.

I never seen that paintball gun before Mopar, pretty nice. During the warmer seasons I do play in the desert, but I'm more of an indoor person for now.

I wish that was my gun LOL that gun cost like $3k. I like woodsball mostly, except when the ticks are out.

I have never played indoor, theres a few places around here that have realistic scenes setup outside. One I played at had a huge D-Day mock up that we played on. Real landing craft and pillboxes on a huge hill.....you had to either work your way up the hill or defend against the landing parties. pretty cool stuff. I get into a lot because its a great way to lose weight and exercise without having to feel like your really exercising. Never a dull moment.

Is that the place (D-Day scenario) that the game goes on 24 hours a day for an entire weekend? I was talking to a guy that did that once. Sounds crazy.

Yeah, it gets my lazy ass off the couch too. Mrs Hectic gets pissed at me for losing weight from playing twice a month, and never stepping foot on the treadmill.

Haha...I hear ya. No this is a much smaller battleground. I have heard of those big team games. They have medics, tanks, and a ton of great stuff out there.

I have the one that is the M4, I like it, really damn accurate and I can actually do pretty good as both sniper and assault.

It been a while since I visited this old thread, I sold my old Kingman Spyder Victor II, now I finally upgraded to a Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Series earlier this year, along with adding a Tippmann Custom 98 Cyclone Feed System.

I used this gun couple times this year and man I was finally able to shoot a lot more people before. I have an friend which I just introduced him into paintball and he drools over my new gun. He tried it out and it shoots like crazy! Because the Cyclone Feed System it feeds up to 15 balls per second. Plus I was introduce into Compressed Air Tanks and plus those tanks shoot better then the CO2 tanks, which I believe.

So anyone here has played paintball lately or has any paintball guns?

I'm still kicking the A-5, but I got a 16" sniper barrel instead of the flatline last spring.

We only made it out 6 or 7 times this season. I would have liked to have gotten out some more though. The indoors places around here are pretty expensive, so we usually don't go to them. Usually we play outside at scenario field, or some woods ball. We used to play at a junk yard, but the guy that got us in took a different job and we can't play there anymore.

By me the Indoor and Outdoor scenario are about the same price tag, there is a new paintball facility that has open outside the city, but I haven't gone yet. They have like 4 fields to choose from. One for kids, SWAT team field, regular field and a ATV field where you drive and shoot the same time.

The junk yard would sound fun, some friends and I use to use an open desert field next to an empty river. But the place has been taken now, by a spring training facility for the cactus league.

No, it wasn't funny at all! Those kids got theirs, though. Four years.

Yep, I don't know any idiots who did this but in Phoenix. For a few years there were some overhead highway signs covered in paintball and finally the city of Phoenix has replace them, hopefully they caught the idiots who did them and made them paid and replace them? But I bet it came out of our tax payers money!

Few days ago, I saw on my local news the indoor paintball facility, I like to play paintball in to get away from the heat. The place caught on fire, do to a AC swap. It sparked a fire and burned part of the place down. Here are some pics of the damage.

It looks just about right to start playing there now. The messier the better.

I haven't been able to play yet this year. Working too many weekends. But I'm not complaining.
