Since I switched over in January I have never been happier. I got a MacBook Black, with the 2.2 GHz. I upgraded the HD to 320g so I would have room for Bootcamp. I maxed out the RAM to 4g, it's much cheaper than getting it from Apple.

I have an external firewire for Time Machine, which is great.

There are new MacBooks, MacBook Pro's, and a MacBook Air coming out on Tuesday the 14th. They will have an aluminum base (maybe).

I guess there will be a MacBook priced at $800.

"Hello, I'm a Mac." :D

Switched 2 years ago and haven't looked back. 15" MacBook Pro and 24" iMac user both with Leopard and a 1TB Time Capsule....and of course a 1st Gen iPhone. :)

I don't use Bootcamp as I don't want to infect my babies with Windows. The only place where I'm forced to use Windows is at work...but at least it's XP.

But yeah the new Macbook line should look sweet. Can't wait to see them this Tuesday!

My school's Macs run both OS, I simply use Windows because I grew up with it and it easier for me. But I do love how easy things are on Macs(film, music and photo editing etc) I just can't bring myself to own one.

Macs run nicely, but I can't justify the prices. I can build a top-of-the-line PC for $800-1000 whereas a comparable Mac would be well over $2,000.

I will be curiously watching the announcement on Tuesday. I am certainly not anti-Mac. In fact I owned one and loved it, but it didn't work out for me because I was trying to use it in a work environment that simply would not work with the Mac, nor did they or have they ever made any changes in that regards. If I got one now it would be very personal use only.

I am thinking with the Economy being so tight that Mac may shock us with some real dramatic price drops. Then again I could be wrong!

Buy the new stock MacBook and I'll show you where I got my RAM & HD for great prices.

You'll be drinking the Kool-Aid soon........;)

I am a mac guy all the way!

I usually upgrade computers around every 3 years. I've noticed that right when the apple care is about to expire the computer starts to slow down. I get this strange sense the computer knows when it is out of warranty! :D

I'm looking forward to Tuesday...time to get a macbook pro!

I would like to get a new one as well, but I cannot justify it. Mine is only 9 months old. I have it set up how I want.

I guess I'll just go to the Apple store and play.

I'm a gamer.

...As well as a player...

My wife got a MacBook thru some program at her school. Works good for what its used for. I can see the benefits if you're just doing some web basics and camera play. It has XP running in Parallels, so I generally just use that since its what I'm used to and it keeps me off of the general school setup.

I have a 2.2Ghz White Macbook loaded with 4G ram, 250G HD currently, but just put in my order for the 2.4Ghz all aluminum MacBook during the keynote. I just got my order in before the dreaded, "We'll be right back" happened to the Apple Store online. Can't wait to get this baby. I have loved my MacBook since I picked it up used off ebay a couple months ago. I'm a *nix guy, so the underlying BSD is a plus for me. The hardware is a bit overpriced, but for all the neat features, like LED backlighting, the magsafe power and pure beautiful design really does make it worth it. TimeMachine is a godsend really, and there is nothing like it elsewhere. I also have a degree in fine art/digital design, so the Mac was a natural choice, if a late one for me.

Hello I am a mac. :D

What's up all, first post. Taylor told me about this place. I look forward to shooting the shit about iPhone and other mediums. I have an iMac G5 and a MacBook Pro with boot camp. Been using Macs for over 15 years and pretty comfortable with them inside and out.

I love to help others troubleshoot all kinds of problems - simple and otherwise - and like learning from other mac users.

 I'm glad you made it over here. We changed the logo, no offense. RoscoRyan did a mockup of the new one, he is actually the same guy who did the TSS logo.
