My Sportster is displaying Antenna not detected. I'm using in a home dock. It works for a little bit then I get the message. In my car with the same dock it works fine. Any suggestions as to what could be the issue.

What kind of antenna are you using at home?

It might have kink or split in it somewhere.

Is the antenna pointed up?

That's all I can thin k to ask right now. :)

antenna

It's a Pro Series antenna. It was hard wired when the house was built. I don't understand why it works for an hour one time and then it quits. The antenna is in Naples Florida. I'm using Sirius Canada account. Would the satellite be different. Could the antenna cable be damaged?

No and yes.

The reception is the same no matter where in North America you are (unless your in western Alaska...:right:)

I think the antenna on my car is going bad, so I may have to replace it, so yes, your antenna might be bad, too. Try hooking it up to another antenna and see what happens. I know sometimes it's not that easy, but if you can, try it...:)

Good luck...:D

Try pulling the top of the radio forward a bit (or add a shim behind it) this helped me ...
