Andy Dick on Ellis

Only heard like an hour of it so far, and its pretty decent.... They are talking about giving Andy a show on Faction... ha ha I wonder when howie will say something about Len... I mean Ellis taking his idea (although he is kind of)

I really dig Ellis and all, but come on..... He had a porn star in there for a while and then Andy Dick. No offense to all the Ellis lovers, but thats what Howard has done before. The only difference is you guys put down Howard for having any type of porn slut in there. I do too so it's not just you guys. I know Ellis doesn't do it every week, but after the last few porn sluts on Howard I wasn't into it on Ellis. Still like the guy, but hate when he does the Howard type bits.

True, but everything is a "howard bit" if you think about it, the length of time and success that Howard has had, makes it hard to be 'original'....

I do have to say that Ellis (and I can only assume from reading this board) is a bit like the 'old school' Howard...Ellis openly makes fun of these porn stars.....

and I totally agree, if it was every week with a Porn star, then well it'd be dumb, but right now its not, so Ellis stays as the flavour of the week for a while, until it changes I guess lol...
I'm not an Ellis lover by any means, again if things start souring up, then of course ppl will start listening to someone else

I'm not a big fan of the porn whores and even Ellis himself has said he doesn't like having them on. Biggest difference for me between Howard and Ellis isn't the content of the show, it's the attitude. Ellis actually sounds like he's having fun. Also, there aren't 50 callers/day on the Ellis show talking about how great the subscription service "Ellismania" is.

The best moment of the Stern show in the last...I don't know...a long time...was when Ronnie came in to bust on Lisa G. Ronnie kept laughing at the absurdity of the show, he could hardly pretend that he was mad. Howard started laughing, which made it alright for Robin to start up and then Fred and then everyone else to laugh. The group sounded as if they were having fun, it was a good section of the show. The antithesis of the "anythingelse,robin" part of the show.
