Alpine iDA-X305 and Sirius SCC1 issues

A month ago I did an install using the new Alpine iDA-X305 headunit which requires the Alpine KCA-SC100 along with the Sirius Connect SCC1.

I've been having nothing but issues with this setup. I won't get into detail but I've already had to have the KCA-SC100 warrantied for an upgraded version due to a device detection issue that would display "Searching" on the screen randomly. Now that I've got past that issue, what happens is that every few power cycles I'll get music outputting through the speakers, I'll be able to change to any channels on my presets but NO artist or track information is displayed(or updated when the song changes) and attempting to change stations under the main category list will result in "No Data" being displayed. A simple power cycle of the head unit fixes this.

I cannot be the only one out there with these issues. Alpine says it's Sirius's problem as they've replaced their stuff, Sirius tells me to make sure everything is plugged in.

I believe Alpine has gone down hill in quality and their Ai-Net interface desperately needs work. I also have four Sirius setup's and I know the quality of their products are shit as well. Any advice out there?

I am having the same problem with the Ida-x305 and the alpine gateway. In my case, I
using the Sirius Stratus 6 radio with the Crutchfield dock and play kit for Alpine. This kit includes the Alpine gateway and a 3d party dock with an Ai-net interface that connects to the gateway.

Sounds like either a problem with the head unit or the gateway to me. I guess it's possible that the SCC1 radio and the dock use the same hw/fw to talk to the Alpine gateway, but I think the only way we're going to find that out is with Alpine's help. Net-net I think it's an Alpine problem IMHO.
