Eight "Very Long Years" for the Loved Ones on the "Anniversary".......

Some of us who watched some or all of today's "Tribute" to the fallen will turn off the TV and think about what we just saw for a while and try to imagine what the families after they leave will take home with them after another year of wondering "Why"

Just like so many other "Disaster's" we don't mean to forget we just somehow if not connected to the disaster some way or another we sometimes do.........

To all of the "Families" who were effected today I can only try to feel somewhat of what this day will be for you always...

I can only say "Sleep well"

I watched the images that day. I can't watch them now. It is still too raw.

Saw the Flight 93 memorial last weekend. Almost came unglued.

Let us never forget what happened that Tuesday morning on Sept 11, 2001.

God bless & comfort all who lost loved ones & friends on that day & the wars that followed :candle:

I remember waking up to a news story about a plane hitting a building in NY. While I was sitting there watching, *boom*, plane 2. That's when I realized it was more than just an accident.

I hate to say this but I am tired of all the memorials and what not. After 8 years it's time to mourn in private, that's one of the MAIN reasons nothings is built there yet. I lost a family member and a couple of friends also but I haven't run down there every year to seek attention. Theres no freakin' way we can forget so stop this shit every year and build something already if you want to mourn do it in private not on TV.
