IT'S OVER JOHNNY, IT'S OVER!!!!!

Hahahahahaha I had no idea this movie is where that quote came from. Haha.

This movie was great! It is a bit corny at times but for what it is, it's clearly a 4.5 out of 5. And the end does get serious with the PTSD and good Stallone acting, which I didn't really know he had in him. This 90 mins flew by. I'm going to rent First Blood Part 2 tomorrow.

This is the only one of the series I have seen. He was doing an interview for the sequel back in the day and something he said rubbed me the wrong way so I never bothered seeing it. Can't even remember what he said now.

Last night we saw Deadpool & Wolverine. I liked it. It was what you expect from Deadpool. Virtual destruction of the 4th wall. Had I known anything about the Marvel universe I would have enjoyed it more. They did bring back lots of the people from the first Deadpool. I did learn that Disney owns Marvel and 20th Century Fox from this movie. It was not as good as the first Deadpool but definitely better then the second.

Cool. I liked the first one, but the first one was better.
I'm debating about going to see it at the theater.
People are so friggin rude with their talking and messing around on their phones. It's so distracting. They think they are at home watching TV in their living rooms.

We had no issues. But maybe Canadians are more polite.

Sorry, but there's no question about that.
I should consider crossing the border for movie-nights.
It will only cost you 3 times the admission price. A bit less since it will be in CA$.

I do a cineclub which gets me va free movie every month. They are bankable which makes the cost manageable. Still not as cheap as the states. Maybe that is why it keeps out the riff raff.

Well, my buddy called last night and asked if we wanted to go see DPW. I was hesitant, but we decided to go for it. It was a 1PM show, so I was hopeful that the crowd would be thin and well behaved. That's what I get for hoping. Our seats were in front of a day trip for some special kids. It was distracting for sure, but since I knew that there was more to it than just bad manners, I didn't let it piss me off. It still makes me question if I'm done with theaters.

The above-mentioned distractions aside, it was a good movie.
I'll need to see it again (at home) to decide where it stacks up against the others.
The action, visuals, and 3D were all well done.

While I was in Saskatoon, my son stayed home. During that time he decided to see the movie "Trap". He said it was the worst movie he had ever seen. He said the idea was good but the writing was horrible. It had so many plot holes it was almost funny (almost -- so it failed also as a comedy). One of the reasons he saw it was because the exterior is filmed at the Rogers Centre in Toronto (baseball stadium). The interior is at First Ontario Centre in Hamilton (hockey arena). Of course, the movie was set in Pittsburgh. So if you are planning to see it, save your money. He also said they ended it set up for a sequel. My son will not be attending that.

I liked his last one, A knock at the Cabin, where the twist was he didn't have a twist. I'll probably check this one out when it's streaming.

M Night seems able to consistently make movies that come in under budget and turn a profit these days, which will keep him constantly working. I guess his days of major hits like Unbreakable and Sixth Sense are behind him.

I loved and still love Sixth Sense. I thought Unbreakable was mediocre at best (the best scenes were deleted). And I thought Signs was extremely stupid. Water is toxic to an alien race who come to Earth where the atmosphere contains water? And it rains all the time? How absolutely dumb of a premise. And the glasses of water and the baseball bat blah blah blah. Just awful. That's the last M movie I watched.

My son saw this one as well. I asked him what he thought of it and he said he enjoyed the company of who he was with (his mom) and didn't think much of the movie (it was just there).

I watch Youtube more than any streaming service and it's not even close. So I decided to bite the bullet and start the 2 month trial of Youtube Premium to get rid of the ads. So far I love it. I mean there's not much to explain...watching stuff without ad breaks is better.

It also offers Youtube music as part of the service but I'm entrenched in Spotify so I doubt I'll ever really use that part of the subscription.
