Rob, look under the passenger seat of your xB and see if there is a metal XM tuner installed. If there is no tuner under that seat this means it was not installed and you can't active a tuner that doesn't exist. If the tuner is there when you switch to sat mode, you should see some text on the display. Switch through the channels and it will bring you to your tuner ID and you can call in with that information and get it activated.
Remember just because it says you have a Sat Ready Radio doesn't mean the tuner was installed. On the 2006 Scion xB the XM tuners were dealer installed upon request but didn't come with it from the factory.
