2 years for being stupid?

Burress got 2 years for being stupid. WTF? Is that really fair? Burress is no thug with a criminal record as long as his arm. The only thing he is guilty of is doing something stupid. He ceratainly doesn't belong in prison. Stallworth got less than 30 days for killing someone! I think the community and Burress would of been better served by probation and 1000 hours of community service. Two years.

The law states that if convicted he was to get a minimum of 3 years, so in my mind 2 years is getting off easy.

Stallworthe certainly deserved more than he got, but Burress was carrying an unlicensed, concealed, deadly weapon. Yes is was stupid, but it was only by luck that the gun didnt kill anybody else when it fell out of his sweatpants (which is another commentary on his stupidity). He deserved what he got. Besides he'll get out early like everybody thats not in for marijuana.

I think it's bull that Plax got 2 years for shooting himself in the leg like a dumbass...he suffered enough right? and then that P.O.S Dante Stallworth got 30 days in jail for KILLING A GUY and only served 24 and is not remorseful whatsoever...

I understand the state law differs with NY being way more strict with gun control laws but cmon...the guy will probably never play in the NFL again. He's an idiot but not a murderer

Yes I feel like it is stupid but the law is the law.
