Here's the other cord that came in the box.

It has the side that goes into the Gateway. Then it has RCA or a stereo plug that you can plug into your Samsung.

No we can just look in the manual to see if this can be used instead of teh iPod one. I'm pretty sure you can.

I think King Rat was it. Unless they had other plans before he passed.

That is pretty sweet.

Thank you for the update.

I will seriously have to consider this for the familly car. I have a company car and get rid of them too quickly to do the installs this way.

Any one know if this thing would work with the scvdoc1 instead of the scc1?

Very interesting. I don't suppose any of the extra pnp features work? It would still be pretty cool. Is there anything like this I could dock my xmp3 in? I really need to cut back on the number of subs I have.

Nothing for the XMp3 no.

As far as the features of the PNP none of them will work in the SCVDOC1 mode. It's something that is a toss up. You get the service from the PNP but none of the features. We've had a number of people buy SCVDOCs and then subsequently get a bit bummed at the loss of features. It seems people really get hooked on things like the replay and song or artist alerts.

Post SIRIUS and iPod Integration for Nissan Review

MM, a poster on Digital Radio Central had been looking for a way to get a SIRIUS in his wife’s 2008 Nissan Altima for months. He didn’t want a Dock and Play SIRIUS Radio even if it was hooked up properly for the best sound quality. Eventually a solution arose. Peripheral Electronics offers the hardware to fully integrate SIRIUS Radio along with an iPod/iPhone connection to the factory Nissan Radio. This setup will allow one to control SIRIUS on the radio with all the hardware cleanly tucked away behind the car’s radio. The Sound Quality is top notch and it’s a seamless way to control music stored on one’s iPod or iPhone. MM got the kit from TSS-Radio here. For the full review from MM go to Digital Radio Central. This type of kit is also available for Acura, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hummer, Isuzu, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercury, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Scion, Saab, Saturn, and Toyota.
