OH H.....EYE OH
As I said in the review of Hip Hop Nation:

This is not my cup of tea although I do enjoy XM68 THE HEAT (non XL) on occasion.

2 of 5 stars :peace:

Could be much better and was before the merger.

It used to be preset #1 but something happened after the merger. It went from playing 75% main stream bubble gum rap to 90%. And you'll often hear the same song playing on Shade 45 and hip hop nation at the same time. This really drives me nuts.

The pill mix and drunk mix are what gets it 4 stars from me (barely) as you'll usually hear some tracks during those shows that you wont hear on any of the other hip hop channels.

I tried to listen twice, the second time I made it through a song (barely). but then the DJ came on with two guys from one of those "I love...." VH1 shows. I like Eminem, but this channel is just unlistenable. 2 stars.

Can't deal with Rude Jude cutting up his pills on the radio.

He came on the Jason Ellis show, and even Ellis said he was off the wall nuts and uncensored

As for the channel, it's disgustingly bad music

"Area 33" became "Area" thanks to it being on two different channels on Sirius and XM. "Spa 73" became "Spa."

Yet, Shade 45 gets to keep the 45?

Interesting.

DRC FAIL. hahaha, j/k. I think it's an issue relating to the forum software, but I find the "1 seconds" thing funny.)

I'm not really a fan of this music either. WTD is the only time I visit Shade 45. I guess I found it more listenable than Hip Hop Nation, but I couldn't tell you why... :idunno:

I actually like Hip Hop. I don't listen to it very often, but it's nice to know I have a channel I can listen to when I want my Hip Hop fix...

This channel works for me in small increments. Anything over a few hours is too much. I'm glad that this channel is uncensored so that you can enjoy the music the way the artist intended it to be heard...:)

(I know my vote won't make much of a difference, but...) 4 out of 5 Stars...

Shade 45 was better Pre-Merger. They played more music and it was more diverse.

Now, it is almost unlistenable to me. It sounds alot like the old XM Raw 66, which I hated.

2 out of 5 stars
