Who's running Howard tv? Are they really that out of touch that they think the audience wants to see a Miss Howard tv every month?

Even that Beetle special is outdated. All the Beetle stuff has been done before. It's old hat by now.

How come the E! show was so good but this sucks so much?

I had HTV for a year or so but recently canceled. I mostly watched the daily stuff and specials Like Beat the Booey. I would like to see the Beetle stuff airing right now though, it sounds funny as hell. I canceled because I barely have time to listen to the radio show, so finding time to watch HTV was hard to do. I rarely watched the shows with chicks and whatnot. if I want porn, there are better and cheaper places to get it :).

I never really liked the E! show after the novelty wore off. They really focused on the naked chicks and celebrity interviews which are two of the things I typically skip with the radio show. I really liked HTV but just couldn't justify the cost for how little I was able to watch it.

By the way, they know exactly what people like to watch on HTV since they have real-time data as to how many people are watching each program. And from what they say on the show the highest rated shows are generally naked chicks, and naked Sal/Richard (go try to figure that one out...).

I canceled after having it about a year back in Orlando. The cable system there took FOREVER to update it with new shows, so quite often there was nothing new to watch.

Plus, it's way too expensive. I would have kept it for $8/mo., but not $20.

I enjoy the Miss Howard TV segments. I just don't look into the sections outside the Daily Shows section since I can't keep up with those.

In the past anytime Howard has mentioned the top watched segments on Howard TV it was always a gay act or Richard and Sal doing something gross to each other that got the top watched shows. You don't really want them to just focus on what everyone likes do you? If so it's time to film "A Day in the Life of Sals Pouch"

Yeah, a price around $5-$8 would be a no-brainer. It is about $15 with COX Cable in orange county which is a bit too much in my opinion.

HTV should not cost the same as HBO or Showtime. thats absurd.

the fact of the matter is, that HTV really mainly exist only to employ the former E! employees who came over to sirius with howard.

HBO and Showtime only cost me $12 each. Including HD and HBO/Showtime On Demand. So $15 for HTV is pretty lame even if I do enjoy the programming.

I've never paid for it myself, but I've been to my buddies to watch some episodes. As long as you don't have to pay, it's worth it. :D

From what I had heard, the people at E! wanted the naked chicks, as that would translate into ratings. Unfortunately, this also painted an unfair picture of the show.

And if you go along with the movie and "Lesbians equal ratings", then you see wehre Howard may be so focused on the naked chicks.

Adult stuff not included?
Premium ala carte stuff not included?

Usually "all the channels for free" just includes your digital tier, sports tier, movie packages, but wouldn't include things like NBA League Pass, NHL Center Ice, and the porn/adult channels.

Still, "pay for HowardTV and get everything else free" isn't a bad deal.

when i had 2 roommates we would all split the cost and i had Htv for about 2 years. i recently purchased my own condo (thanks for that rebate obama) and i live by myself. being on a tighter budget i simply cant justify spending a total of over $30 a month just on howard. between sirius and Htv, its simply too much. i really dug Htv. i liked the miss howard stern reality show, and checking out the daily shows is always fun. im sorry im not gonna see the beetle reality show. but overall, if i have to pick between the radio show or the tv show, its radio all the way.
