Welcome to the 501th edition of Who Am I?, the weekly game where I dish out a daily clue to a subject and you have to guess who or what it is.

Every day, the clues get easier. The winner of this week's game gets a piece of my gratitude.

This week's subject is a TITLE.

CLUE #1: I was released in the 1930s.

John Steinbeck's The Grapes Of Wrath includes this line: "I ain't sleepin'. I got too much to puzzle with.” Why, golly gee, how much clearer could it be that The Grapes Of Wrath is the answer! I know how Mister chuck's mind works.

All Quiet On The Western Front
Congrats, Wolf!

It's "All Quiet on The Western Front", the 1930 Academy Award winning movie starring Lew Ayres set during the first World War. Oddly enough, it wasn't the first WWI movie to win Best Picture Oscar; that honor went to 1927's "Wings".

With all the talk regarding "1917", it was a fitting ATW.

Wolf wins wunce again. Congratulations! (Misspelling done for the sake of alliteration.) Lew Ayers is perhaps best known for playing Dr. James Kildare in nine MGM movies. They air occasionally on the Turner Classic Movies channel. Richard Chamberlain starred in the 1961-66 Dr. Kildare television series.
