The Maple Leafs (1966-1967)
The Blue Jays (1993)
The Raptors (err, never)
The Argonauts (2012)
You forgot the AHL team -- The Toronto Marlies. They may win it this year if they win this series. They were the best team overall but Albany has been playing them tight. Game 7 tonight.
I should have voted for the Maple Leafs for a laugh. Sad part is despite their almost 50 years of ineptitude they have won the 2nd most Stanley Cups in NHL history. So I voted for the Jays because they have the best shot although I think it will be a while. I think the Raptors have gone as far as they are going to go .... and I hate basketball.
I'm pulling for the Maple Leafs
Also we have a MLS Soccer team although they probably won't win anything anytime soon.
The Blue Jays
I'd like to see the Raptors knock off the Cavs in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
Well, it won't be the Raptors or the Marlies this year. Raptors lost to Cleveland Friday and Marlies lost to the Hershey Kisses this afternoon and are eliminated.
I voted for the Maple Leafs
in that order
He’s your champion, Toronto
Jozy Altidore's goal lifts Toronto FC to MLS Cup win over Seattle Sounders
It is actually our second in a row. The Toronto Argos won the Grey Cup (CFL championship) a couple of weeks ago. Next up the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Congrats IRBS on your championship win. You only won it, because Houston Dynamo was eliminated.
.... and since it's that time of the year again....
The Leafs and Raptors have each let us down. The Jays are also letting us down. We have started another streak.
The Toronto Marlies (AHL franchise) has won the Calder cup beating Texas in game 7. Another championship (although minor league) for the city. I am making a bigger deal out of it since it is so rare for a hockey championship and Toronto to be mentioned in the same sentence.
..... and as the season rolls on .. I swear the TV commentators on TSN are on anti-depressants and tore the page with "excitement" defined out of the dictionary. Anyone watching overnight in the UK on BT must go straight to sleep.
