I saw this commercial and IMMEDIATELY linked it to the Stern Show.
last time u did this it drove me crazy. dont forget to give the answer this time.
i have no idea once again but im guessing it has something to do with the song. i found this:
Thanks. Never heard that before.
Such a great parody. It's amazing to realize how long Survivor has been on the air. In terms of pure number of seasons, it's been on longer than The Simpsons...but Survivor has also been known to do two seasons per year. I never really got into it, but did watch some of the earlier seasons on an "off and on basis." I liked the Amazon season when Jeff left the area via jetski. The next shot had him coming into NY harbor via that same jetski. As it was right after 9/11, the live audience went nuts when the Statue of Liberty was seen on the TV.
And of course, when Jeff told Howard that people would send him Stern Show tapes when he was off in the remote locations. You'd have to figure that with as long as it would take to get to those locations, how many tapes would he get by the time filming wrapped?
This takes me back to Sunday afternoons circa 2008. Mastertape Theater, then this song to introduce the next show:
Survivor is still on? I lost interest in season 3
I never really watched, but lost interest somewhere around the whole Jenna Morasca thing...which was actually the Amazon season I mentioned above.

Love that song. Love it. Love it. Love it.
I can't think of this song without thinking of the Stern version:
FWIW, I talked to Mark of MarksFriggin and he says the Island song parody was one that the show did (as opposed to one of the listeners) and he thinks the Rudy voice was an impersonator as opposed to clips.
It's still a good one.
What does this have to do with THSS?
Ronnie loves Mambo?
Yes! I laugh when I hear this song, because all I can think of is Ronnie and his Mambo cologne.
This is more a sad one, but I'm watching one of those Dateline murder things and the woman says: "I lost my mother and I lost my best friend." The situation happened just north of NYC so she kinda has a Booey accent without the beaver teeth and ginormous lips.
I may have had to back it up to make sure I heard what I heard.
Was the show on at noyne?
It was probably a one-hour show ending at noyne.

Because it's June...if people knew where this thing has been and what's been in it (allegedly), I doubt they'd actually want to win it.
