It might be worth mentioning bands that have broken up and then got back together, other than the one's already mentioned. The most recent being Coldplay. I'm not really sure wtf is going on with them; didn't really understand the very planned breakup (maybe it was a conscious uncoupling), followed by a collaboration with The Chainsmokers that basically sounded like a Coldplay song. And now they're back together? So they never really broke up.

Sleater-Kinney was done for 8 years, and then they got back together and made 2 good albums, the most recent released this year. LCD Soundsystem did a farewell tour, and then got back together a few years later, putting out a good album. Didn't AC/DC get back together?

LCD Soundsystem called it quits one one of their guys fell down an elevator shaft and died.
I guess they got over it.

AC/DC didn't really break up. The singer quit because of his hearing. They found another singer for a while. I don't know their current status, but they had been seen in Vancouver near the recording that they use with Brian Johnson again. I'm not sure if he's back with them or not.

Hopefully they can make it to this part of the country.

The Pussycat Dolls broke up in 2010 and reunited in September 2019. Last week, they released their first new song since 2009. They'll begin a tour on April 5. Show of hands: Who wanted a Pussycat Dolls reunion? Okay, I see two lustful teenaged boys with their hands raised. Anyone else?

I almost got tickets and am already regretting not doing it. The Mrs had seen them at Lalapolooza back in the day, and it's on a Monday so she passed. Two of my buddies that I often see concerts with passed. Another friend was interested but he's better to spend that kind of time with when there are more people around.

There's a lot of broken up bands I'd like to see live, but my hearing loss pretty much means no concerts, ever! Wear earplugs, kids!

I started doing that several years ago, and it helps a lot.
My ears would ring for days after concerts from the 80s and 90s.
Even something as simple as cotton makes a huge difference.

I just heard a new song by The Who called Detour. It wasn't bad, but I suspect Daltrey's got a lot of "studio enhancements" going on with his voice. I didn't know they were still a band.

Pearl Jam also has a new album out, but I'm not a fan of the single they're playing now.

I like the new PJ. It's really different for them and kind of silly. I like that much better than the ballad stuff they did. For me, they either need to be angry or silly. They aren't built right for sappy. It's like using a hammer to push in a thumbtack.
