I bought my Martinsville Tickets last week. When you buy them online, you are given a chance to buy Ticket Insurance along with your tickets through a third party. Cost was $12.50/ticket.

Now it doesn't cover travel expenses or other costs incurred, but at least it covers my tickets. I don't plan on missing the race. I can afford to stay if the race happens to be rained out and raced on Monday, but not after that.

The next thing they need is driver/victory insurance, just in case Jr. fails to win, you get your money back :p

Great post! I forgot about that option at some of the tracks. With the recent string of bad weather this sounds like a good idea.

Great idea! Or if Kyle doesn't speak after a race I can get a refund on my Sirius subscription.
