Hello and welcome to the 106th edition of Theme Songs.

Songs with guest appearances by famous guitar players.

Congrats, Aaron!

This week's theme is Guest Guitarists.

Richard Marx - Don't Mean Nothin' features an appearance by Eagles/James Gang legend Joe Walsh on Guitar.

Boys of Summer was written by Mike Campbell, the one-time guitarist for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and was originally written for the band. Petty himself didn't like the song, thought it had too much synthesizer. So Don Henley took it over and turned it in to one of his biggest hits of his solo career, with Mike Campbell providing the guitar track.

Michael Jackson's 'Beat It' featured Eddie Van Halen on guitar, providing the solo. EVH did it as a favor to the artist and Quincy Jones.

And the last clue:

The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps featured an uncredited performance by Slowhand himself, Eric Clapton.

New game next week!

Damn good contest Jon. I didn't know that about Boys of Summer.
No matter how hard I try, I can't imagine Petty doing it as well as Petty.
Thanks for the game.

Congrats Aaron! Well done.
